We visited Hilo's Ranbow Falls, last week friday... It looked more like Niagara falls! Hilo is having an awesome rainy season this year. The sun wasn't shining, so we didn't get to see any rainbows.
We definitely need the rain to keep it green here on the east side of the Big Island. While we're on that subject, people always ask when is a good time to visit the Big Island? Answer: All year round, if you need some sunshine, just take a drive to the West side & you'll see the sun, along with the beautiful beaches of the Kona Coast!
